Owner and performer, Karissa Britton, hatched the idea of Wonderful Wishes Entertainment for a senior class project. She had been a character performer for 3 years and an actor for longer when she moved upstate and was challenged to start a business. With her love of acting and the joy it brings her to work with children, the choice was clear. Using her past experience as a party princess, teacher, actor, and entrepreneur, she launched Wonderful Wishes Entertainment in January 2024. Karissa has received support from many people in her family and community. Her main supporter (and co-owner) Kelly Baker has pushed Karissa to take initiative and grow the business into what it is now. Between finding actors for a group photoshoot, reaching out to local businesses for collaborations, and saving to buy countless costumes and supplies, Karissa has really grown with the business. It’s currently a one-princess show but she loves to partner with other companies to provide quality entertainment all around South Carolina. Bringing a little bit of magic to the community and seeing the joy it brings makes everything worth it in the end.
